For those being taunted by stacks of overwhelming piles of paper, including three-year-old receipts, expired coupons and old birthday cards — help might be on the way.

Deniece Schofield, author of books including ��Confessions of an Organized Homemaker” and “Kitchen Organization Tips and Secrets,” holds a seminar Monday at the AmericInn. She will cover topics including clutter control, time management and more from 7 to 9 p.m. The seminar is $25. The first ten people at the seminar will receive a free book.

Attendees will learn hundreds of ways to have a neat house, happy kids and be calm parents; how to eliminate all scraps of floating paper; how to schedule time; and household hints and ideas for a more efficient use of space and time.
