Austin grad Lindsey Lukes honored

Lindsey Lukes, an Austin grad, has been named to the 2010 CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V College Division At-Large Second Team.
Lukes, a senior swimmer at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, holds a 3.78 GPA and graduated this spring with a degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology.
She was a two-time national qualifier and earned all-American honors in the 200 freestyle relay in 2010, finishing fourth and was honored three times with honorable mention all-American status in 2009.
She holds school records in the 100, 200 and 500 freestyle relay as well as the 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 800 free relay and the 400 medley relay.
She was a three-time all-conference honoree and a two-time team captain. She was a member of the Dean’s list four times and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She was a Chancellor’s Leadership Award recipient and made the conference’s Scholastic Honor Roll all four season.
