Sylvia Wagoner

Sylvia Ann Wagoner, 58, passed away at the Albert Lea Medical Center on Sunday, April 25, 2010. She fought hard, but lost her battle with colon cancer and went to be with Our Savior.
Sylvia was born Jan. 24, 1952 in Austin to Betty Kruger and she has a twin sister, Linda. Sylvia married Stafford E. Wagoner in 1973 and they divorced in 1977. Sylvia was a wild lady with a crazy spirit and a loving heart. She loved her grandchildren more than herself. She always had time for her kids and grandkids. Sylvia loved to gamble and spent a good chunk of her last years at the casino in Iowa. She loved bingo and being with her best friend, Linda V. of Austin.
Surviving her are her two beautiful and courageous daughters, Melody R. Wagoner, 34, of Stillwater, Minn. and Dawn M. Morales, 32, of Austin; three wonderful grandchildren, Francisco, 13, Alicia, 12, and Alejandro, 9, all of Austin; mother, Betty L. Kruger of Austin; sisters, Linda Stigney of Stillwater, Minn., Dona True-Johnson (Kirk Johnson) of Stillwater, Minn., Toy Sue Olson of Austin; many loving nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her loving brothers, Danny Kruger and Bernard Olson.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Austin Salvation Army. This is a casual celebration of life, so come as you are.
The honorary casket bearers will be Francisco, Alicia, Alejandro, Brent Johnson, Bridget Cook, Tristan Mehus, Linda Vasey and Toy Sue Olson.
Sylvia will be joining her brother’s, Danny and Bernard’s, wishes of having a tree planted at the Hormel Nature Center. These three trees are planted in their honor. Please come and visit these memorials for these loved children of God.
