Support group sessions offered by Austin Medical Center Hospice

Austin Medical Center will hold a support group for individuals who have experienced the death of a loved one, beginning April 20 and continuing through May 25. The group meets every Tuesday from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Mower County Senior Center Board Room, 400 Third Ave. N.E., Austin. Registration is required and attendance at all six sessions is highly recommended.
It is the goal of the Austin Medical Center Hospice program to provide the highest quality of care and to meet the health care needs of the patient and family. Services that are provided in the Hospice program include skilled nursing care, personal care/homemaker duties, therapy, nutrition support, medical social services, physician directed services, clergy, volunteers, and bereavement support.
Hospice provides a caring and healing place for you and your family as you grieve. Call 434-1415 to register for the support group or for more information about hospice care. There is no cost to attend the grief support group sessions.
