Richard D. Farris passed away in San Antonio, Texas on April 6, 2010. 
He was born on Feb. 8, 1932, in Austin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother. 
Rick is survived by Marlys, his wife of 58 years; four sons, Monte, Anthony, Timothy and Craig; daughters-in-law, Dawn and Debbie; many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and family. 
A memorial service will be held at the family cabin on Trout Run in Minnesota. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Rochester Mayo Clinic Research. A memorial service date is pending.
