The Lyle/Pacelli golf teams each came through with a meet medalist against Glenville/Emmons and the girls won 243-303, while the boys fell 194-202 on the road Friday.

Alex Brennan medaled for the boys team and Jennie Marx medaled for the girls in both squad’s season openers.

Emily Leif finished with a 55 for L/P, despite having six penalty strokes on the first two holes.

“Emily really recovered and played pretty well after a tough start,” L/P head coach Mark Buntje said. “The girls have got some competition amongst themselves and that’s good.”
