Jeffrey Scott Claussen went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 31, 2010. 
Jeffrey Scott Claussen was born on Dec. 18, 1957 in Ardmore, Okla. He was baptized into the Christian faith on Dec. 22, 1957 in Trinity Lutheran Church in Ardmore. He confirmed his baptismal
faith on May 21, 1972 in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Austin. He was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church, Houston, Texas.
Jeff was a 1976 graduate of Austin High School. He attended Austin Community College and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1985.
He is survived by his parents, Dr. Don and Charlotte Claussen of League City, Texas and formerly of Austin; and brothers, Stephen (Barbara) of Dallas, Texas, Bradley (Katy) of Friendswood, Texas and Tom (Carol) of League City, Texas. He is also survived by his nephew, Samuel Claussen, Tucson, Ariz., and nieces, Elizabeth and Lauren Claussen of Friendswood, Texas and Karin Claussen of Dallas, Texas; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service was held on April 10, 2010 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Nassau Bay, Texas.
