Donna Mae (Krause) Williams, 86, of Austin died Monday, March 29, 2010 at her home.
Donna was born on the family farm in Deerfield Township, near Owatonna, Minn., on Feb. 28, 1924 to Adolph and Marie (Manke) Krause.
She graduated from Owatonna High School and attended the Minneapolis School of Business and the McPhail School of Music. On Nov. 11, 1946, she married Samuel A. Williams in Owatonna.  Donna co-owned Williams Plumbing with her husband, Samuel. She was a member of our Savior’s Lutheran Church, the Isaac Walton League and a former member of the Northwestern Singers. In her spare time she enjoyed singing, playing cards, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Williams; son, Mark Williams; daughter, Sandra Stransky.
Donna is survived by her children: Suzanne (Dana) Miller, Austin, Patricia (Michael) Lewis DeVinny, Owatonna, Minn., John (Jan) Williams, Duluth, Minn., Kenneth Stransky ( Sandra), Owatonna, Minn., Jim and Marion Williams, Danville, Ill.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and Chuck Reining.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Hormel Historic Home with the Rev. Glenn Monson officiating. Visitation will be at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and at the Hormel Historic Home for one hour before the service on Saturday. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Hormel Historic Home following the interment.
