Things looked bleak early, but the Blooming Prairie baseball team bounced back to beat United South Central 8-7 in BP Thursday.

BP took the lead for good in the fifth inning when Aaron Krejci doubled and pinch runner Brad Wacelka scored from second on an error by USC (3-1 overall).

“He took off early and it worked to our benefit,” BP head coach Chris Staloch said. “The second baseman looked up to see him running and missed the ball.”
