The Austin girls golf team took fifth at the Red Wing Invite with a team score of 387 Tuesday.

Austin bested it’s score from Saturday’s Hayfield Invite by 31 strokes as freshman Lauren Stasi led the way with a 92 and senior Kelsey Stough shot a 94.

“We showed a big improvement and we played much better,” Austin head coach Erik LaRock said. “Hopefully we’ll play a little more consistent now.”
