The Lyle/Pacelli baseball team picked up its first win of the season when it edged out Glenville/Emmons (5-3 overall) 5-3 on the road Tuesday.

Michael Lonergan picked up the win on the mound and he also knocked in the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh.

Lonergan struck out seven in seven innings of work, while allowing five hits and two walks for the Athletics (1-2 overall).
