Austin’s four state qualifying swimmers didn’t move on in their individual events, but both relay teams will get a chance to swim on Saturday at the Class ‘A’ state swimming and diving meet at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.

Austin’s Nick Brehmer, Jordan Stasi, Michael Thorsheim and Zach Rausch finished in the top-16 to move in the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relays Friday.

Neither team is in the finals, but they’ll swim in the consolation round.

The 200-yard freestyle relay team shaved a half a second off its qualifying time to finish 14th and get a chance to swim on Saturday.

The 400-yard freestyle relay team took 13th to move on.
