Thelma June Gustafson, 90, of Austin died Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Austin Medical Center.
Thelma was born on June 2, 1919 to Edgar and Anna Goodmanson. She attended Austin High School and graduated in 1937. She taught five years at a rural school after attending teacher’s training.
On April 16, 1943, Thelma was united in marriage to Allard Gustafson. They shared 58 years of marriage and were perfect partners.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Edna Hammer; a brother, Gilbert Goodmanson.
Thelma is survived by nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
She will be laid to rest with her husband at Florida National Cemetery. There will be no memorial service.
Thelma June was loved and will be missed.
