Paul, Peter, Mike and I would thank to thank everyone for coming to help celebrate Katie’s life with friends and family at Riverland College Feb. 26. We raised a good amount of money to put toward the Katie Nelson Endowed Scholarship that will help future Riverland students to make their dreams come true.

Katie would be very proud of all of us that we found more laughter than tears in our memories. We would especially like to thank Piggy Blues, Coffee House on Main, Belles and Beaus and all of those who shared their talent on stage and off. Again, thanks for helping us get through the first hard year of living without our precious Katie. We count ourselves lucky to live in such a giving community of family and friends.
