Jane Soiney

Jane Joan Soiney, 80, of Austin died at St. Mark’s Lutheran Home Wednesday, March 3, 2010. 
She was born Dec. 12, 1929 to Curtis and Rena (Palmer) Bisbee east of Mona, Iowa. She attended school in Austin and Lyle where she graduated in 1947. She married Ronald Soiney on June 6, 1948 at First United Methodist Church parsonage. They made their home in Austin where they raised four children. Jane loved to dance and liked to shop, go to rummage sales and spend time with her grandchildren. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Jane also belonged to a sewing club.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Soiney of Austin; three sons, Steven (Dee) Soiney of rural Albert Lea, Michael Soiney (fiancé Linda) of Milwaukee, Wis., Kevin (Nancy) Soiney of Austin; six grandchildren, Susannah (Erik) Brekke, Andrew, Zachary, Brittany, Jennifer, Daniella Belongia and Cole Soiney; one great-granddaughter, Jannah Brekke; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeanne (Earl) Sanders of Flint, Mich., Robert (Luella) Soiney of Austin, Mickey (Hank) Quam of Austin, Richard (Jan) Soiney of Phoenix, Ariz.; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Kathy Bundy Soiney; three sisters, Nada, Dorothy and her twin, Jean; one brother, Manny Bisbee; parents-in-law, Oscar and Georgia Soiney.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Worlein Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Stephen DeFor officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Worlein Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service. Interment is at Woodbury Cemetery, rural London, Minn. 
Memorials are preferred to St. Mark’s Lutheran Home.
