FIRST TEAM

Tanner Kramer, guard, Hayfield

The senior point guard led Hayfield (11-15 overall) on offense with 16.8 points and 3.9 assists per game, while hitting 80.2 percent of his free throws. Kramer also added 3 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. Kramer finished with 1,189 career points and ranks third in career scoring at Hayfield.

Cody Meyer, guard, Lyle/Pacelli

The senior was a force on both ends of the court for L/P as he averaged 15.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 3.4 steals. Meyer finished his career with 1,230 points and will play in a Tri-State All-Star game at Decorah College in Luther, Iowa April 11 at 1 p.m.

Connor Gunderson, forward, Austin

The senior was Austin’s first option on offense and he delivered with 18.3 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. He chipped in a career-high 39 points against Waseca and finished with 1,055 career points. Gunderson, who is a threat to score from the inside and outside, will play in the Minnesota Basketball Coach’s Association All-Star Series at Halenbeck Hall on the campus of St. Cloud State University April 9 and at Leonard Center on the campus of Macalester College in St. Paul April 10.

Brady Stier, forward, Lyle/Pacelli

The senior big man finished his career with 1,633 points, making him the highest scorer in Pacelli High School and Lyle/Pacelli boys basketball history. This past season, Stier led the Athletics (20-6 overall) with 18.1 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. He was a tying vote getter with Lanesboro’s Brett Hungerholt for SEC player of the year and he will play in a Tri-State All-Star game April 17-18 at Cass Lakes, Minn.

Cooper Nelson, center, Blooming Prairie

The junior dominated the paint for Blooming Prairie, breaking single season school records in rebounds (257) and blocked shots (67). He averaged 17 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks on the year.

SECOND TEAM

T.J. Fritz, guard, Austin

The senior point guard controlled the tempo for the Packers (13-13 overall) and he averaged 10.8 points, 4.1 assists, and 3 rebounds while hitting 75.1 percent of his free throws. Fritz poured in a career-high 23 points in a playoff loss to New Prague.

Chris May, guard, Southland

While controlling the pace on offense, the senior averaged 12 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists per game for the Rebels.

Alan May, forward, Southland

The junior averaged 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 3.2 steals per game.

Kody Kramer, forward, Hayfield

While making the switch from a perimeter player to an inside force, the senior averaged 12.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1 block per game.

Mike Goergen, center Southland

The freshman had a strong varsity debut, finishing with 10 points and 6 rebounds per game.

HONORABLE MENTION

Bobbie Stephens, guard, Hayfield

The sophomore showed a smooth shooting stroke for the Vikings, hitting 39.9 percent (71-for-178) of his three-pointers and 78.8 percent of his free throws. Stephens averaged 10.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.

Robert Hofius, guard, Blooming Prairie

The senior point guard had a quick first step and he averaged 11 points and 3 rebounds per game.

Michael Lonergan, forward, Lyle/Pacelli

The senior provided the Athletics with a solid third scoring option, averaging 7.9 points per game and hitting 29 percent (35-for-121) of his threes.
