Seniors lead the way for Rebels in win over Grand Meadow boys

Chris May helped the Rebels boys basketball team celebrate senior night with a 68-45 win in Adams Monday.

May, who scored 24, was one of seven Southland seniors who got on the board in the win. Cameron Barnes and Eric Monson each chipped in seven points for Southland (12-9 overall).

β€œI started all seniors and Chris came out pretty fired up,” Southland head coach Jon Thalberg said. β€œHe came out pretty fired up.”

GM (9-12 overall) was led by Michael Gehling with 13 points.

Southland led 33-22 at the break.
