Peter Francis Wagner, 43, of Foothill Ranch, Calif., passed away suddenly on Jan. 12, 2010.
Peter was born on Dec. 2, 1966, to Joseph and Rita Wagner. He grew up in Austin. Peter graduated from St. Thomas University in St. Paul, Minn. in 1989 with a degree in business administration. During the next 21 years, he worked in sales for several food processing and beverage companies, such as Hormel Foods, Coca Cola, Red Bull, and most recently, Neuro Drinks. He took great pride in the personal and business relationships that he developed in the food and beverage industry. In 1995, Peter married Kimberly Lauderdale and settled in Foothill Ranch, Calif., nurturing three children. As a loving father, he was constantly involved in his children’s activities like Indian Princesses and coaching softball. He was a devoted member of the Saddleback Church in Orange County where his entire family has been very active. Peter was blessed with an engaging personality and was kind and generous to all with whom he came in contact.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Kimberly, and children Olivia (13), Harrison (11), and Abigail (8); mother and father, Rita and Joe Wagner, Austin; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Hazel and Merle Lauderdale, Irvine, Calif.; brother, Carter (Meg) Wagner, Austin; Joseph (Connie) Wagner, Los Angeles, Calif.; sister, Liz (Mark) Myran, Eagan, Minn.; brother-in-law, Todd (Stephanie) Lauderdale, Wildomar, Calif.; sister-in-law, Lori (Peter) Morris, Yorba Linda, Calif.; many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass in remembrance of Peter’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 511 4th Ave. NW, Austin, with Fr. Joe Fogal officiating.
