The Lyle/Pacelli boys basketball team ended its regular season with its 13th straight victory as it closed out Randolph (4-19 overall) 65-35 on senior night in Pacelli High School Tuesday.

Senior Michael Lonergan hit five threes and scored 22 points to lead L/P (18-5 overall) to the win.

“It was good to get Lonergan going, because we’re going to need to get him going in the playoffs,” L/P head coach Reid Olson said.

The Athletics took over early in the game and they led 33-16 at the break.

With playoff seedings coming up, L/P will likely get a bye in the first round and host a second round game.

“We accomplished a couple of our goals in the regular season and now the fun time starts with the playoffs,” Olson said.

L/P scoring: Lonergan, 22; Cody Meyer, 12; Brady Stier, 10; Ryan Rust, 4; Colton Scherer, 4; Skylar Meyer, 3; Kyle Pereault, 2; Michael Bergstrom, 2; Michael Hutchinson, 2; Carter Guthmiller, 2; Michael Kline, 2; free throws: 50 percent (8-for-16)
