Herman Dietrich

Herman (Tony) Dietrich, 62, formerly of Austin, currently a resident of Denver, Colo., was killed in a single motorcycle accident while vacationing in Hawaii on Jan. 14.
He was born March 29, 1947 to Helen and Herman Dietrich Sr., of Austin. He was married to Patricia Morgan on May 4, 1968. During that time, Tony was employed by Streaters in Albert Lea. In 1974, they moved to Denver where he worked as a construction manager for a large commercial builder.
Tony was an immense family man who enjoyed four wheeling and camping in the mountains. He also like to play with his new computerized sewing/embroidery machine, working with the laptop, mastering farmville, target shooting, restoring cars and motorcycles and of course riding the Harley with wife, Patty, in the sidecar. He had a great passion for traveling and enjoyed the open water on various cruise ships.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Herman; brothers, John Rowe and Herman (Duke) Klith; sisters. Jean Addison and Margret (Muggs) Gregory.
He is survived by his wife, Patty; sons, Tony Dietrich (Cindy), Denver, Colo., Patrick (Brooke) Dietrich, Thorton, Colo.; daughter, Kandee Dietrich, Denver, Colo.; grandchildren, Robert and Salena Dietrich and Dystany; sister ,Joaan Rowe, Mankato, Minn.; brother, Andrew Wesley Klith; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ginger (Hector) Baldus, Burnsville, Minn., John Morgan and Maria Diaz, both of  Lansing, Minn., Robert (Deb) Morgan, Austin, Cindy (Harold) Roberts, Elk River, Minn., Tom (Julie) Morgan, Blooming Prairie, Minn.; and his very dear and longtime best friend, Uncle Mike.
There will be a celebration of Tony’s Life held on Feb. 4, 2010 at the Adam’s County Fairgrounds in Brighton Colo.
