The Hayfield boys basketball team lost to Zumbrota/Mazeppa (15-6 overall) 74-68 on the road Tuesday.

The Vikings (10-13 overall) led by five early in the first half, but Z/M, which has won 12 of its last 13 games, made a run to go up 10 and it rolled from that point.

Hayfield hit 11 threes in the loss.

“We played good offense, but we just couldnt get enough stops,” Hayfield head coach Chris Pack said.

The game was tied at 39 at the half.
