Hayfield forward Kody Kramer had season-highs in points and rebounds as he led the Vikings to a 70-68 win over Southland in Hayfield Thursday.

Kramer had 27 points and 18 rebounds for the Vikings (8-10 overall) who led by five before Southland (10-8 overall) hit a three-pointer at the buzzer.

“It was two similar teams tonight,” Hayfield head coach Chris Pack said. “We’re both pretty athletic but the difference was our post presence. Kody was pretty tough for them to guard.”
