The Mower County Habitat & Pheasants Forever club is hosting its annual banquet and auction this Saturday at the Holiday Inn banquet hall.

The doors will open at 5 p.m. and dinner is served at 7 p.m.

“This is the number one fundraiser that we do each year,” said Sue Olson, chapter president. “This is where we get the money that we use to help our work in land acquisitions and other programs in the community.”

Along with the dinner, about 27 items will be auctioned off during the live auction, along with about 50 items during the silent auction and 15 raffle items. A total of 19 guns will be sold in the raffles, drawings and auctions.

Other items to be auctioned include two overnight hunting packages, homemade furniture, handmade quilts, prints and many other items.

Individual tickets cost $50, and that also goes toward a one year membership to Habitat & Pheasants Forever. If someone brings a spouse or guest, the additional ticket is $20. Children can attend the banquet and dinner for $20, and that also includes a youth membership.
