The Grand Meadow girls basketball team knocked off No. 11 Schaeffer Academy (1-20 overall) 62-28 in the first round of the Subsection 1A East playoffs Tuesday in GM.

The sixth-seeded Superlarks (15-9 overall) hit five threes on the night and they led 32-10 at the break.

GM will play at No. 3 LeRoy/Ostrander Friday at 7 p.m.
