The LeRoy/Ostrander girls basketball team topped No. 6 seeded Grand Meadow 55-42 in the second round of the Section 1A East Divison tournament Friday.

The third-seeded Cardinals (23-4 overall) outscored the Superlarks (15-10 overall) 31-24 in the second half.

“We were a little more aggressive in the second half and good things happened,” L/O head coach Aaron Hungerholt said.

L/O will play No. 2 Rushford/Peterson (12-10 overall) in Rochester Civic Center Tuesday at 8 p.m.
