Helen Elenora Lenoch, 88, of Deer River, Minn., formerly of Austin, Minn., died Monday, Dec. 28, 2009 at Becky’s House in Deer River, Minn.
She was born July 10, 1921 in Ft. Atkinson, Iowa, to Joseph and Anna (Moser) Sattler.
Helen attended Catholic school in Ft. Atkinson, Iowa. She was married to Gilbert A. Lenoch at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin. Helen was a homemaker and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. She was an avid Minnesota Twins fan and enjoyed watching birds at the bird feeder. Six years ago, Helen moved from Austin to Deer River, Minn.
Helen is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Ann and Phil Bundy, Austin, Patricia Lenoch and John Turck, Deer River, Minn.; sons and daughter-in-law: Daniel  Lenoch, Park Rapids, Minn., Richard (Judy) Lenoch, Rochester, Minn.; seven grandchildren ; nine great-grandchildren; brother: Merle Sattler, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert, a granddaughter and nine brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010 at Clasen-Jordan Chapel with Deacon Rich Aho officiating.  Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Austin at a later date. Friends may greet the family for one hour before the service on Sunday.
Organist will be Shirley Cahill. Soloist will be Erin Schumacher. Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
