Ethel M. Wilke, 89, of Newport, Minn., formerly of Austin, passed away on Jan. 12, 2010. 
She was born on Oct. 28, 1920. She married Frank “Bob” Wilke on Oct. 13, 1940.
Survivors include her children, Jean (Chan) Fate of West Concord, Joyce (Calvin) Schaefer of Lakeland, David (Sandy) Wilke of Lakeland, Robert (Kathy) Wilke of Cottage Grove, William Wilke of Woodbury, Barb (Dean) Williamson of Blooming Prairie, Rose (Mike) White; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank “Bob;” her son, James; her parents; six brothers and five sisters.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Lyle with Pastor Barbara Finley-Shea officiating. Interment is at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.
