The Packer gymnasts put up a season-high score when they topped Mankato West 138.425-127.250 at the Austin YMCA Tuesday.

“We looked really good and things are coming along,” Austin head coach Mark Raymond said. “We had a couple of minor errors and we could’ve been in the 141s.”

Austin took the top five spots in the vault and they had five gymnasts finish in the top-seven of the bars.

“We’ve still got a little bit left to improve on in those events,” Raymond said.

On the beams, the Packers had the top four finishers and in the floor they had five of the top six finishers.

“It was probably our best night on the beam,” Raymond said.

Eighth grader Sela Fadness took first in the vault, bars and floor and senior Sabrina Snater took first in the beam.
