BROWNSDALE — Akkerman Inc. appointed Jason Holden to the position of area sales manager for North America and Canada.

“I am very excited for the opportunity to represent Akkerman Inc. in a sales capacity and look forward to working with customers to achieve mutual project success,” Holden said in a press release.

Holden has a wide range of experience with Akkerman. He most recently work as project engineer in the Akkerman engineering department. Holden started at Akkerman as a design engineer for the microtunneling boring machine line before advancing to project engineer for MTBM and Earth Pressure Balance Machine.

Holden has been the senior project engineer for both the MTBM and EPBM lines for the last three years.

Through his previous roles at Akkerman, Holden traveled and formed relationships with Akkerman constituencies.

Holden, a Byron resident, graduated from Minnesota State University with a bachelors in mechanical engineering.

Akkerman Inc. manufactures microtunneling, pipejacking, guided boring and earth pressure balance equipment.
