Patricia A. Fiehler, 70, died Dec. 9, 2009 at Via Christi-St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kan.
Patricia was born Feb. 19, 1939 in Hayfield, Minn. to Otto and Nellie Johnson Helfritz. She was united in marriage June, 10 1956 to Jerry L. Fiehler in Lyle, Minn. She was a homemaker.
Patricia was active in the community as a member of United Methodist Church, Alden, Kan.; American Legion Auxiliary and Silver Threads, both of Sterling, Kan.; former location Supervisor for Friendship Meals and former Cub Scout Den Mother.
Patricia lived in Sterling, Kan. since 1972 and was formerly of Osage City.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Glennis Fiehler and her parents.
She is survived by her husband Jerry, of the home; son, Steven (Wendy) Fiehler, Sterling, Kan.; sister, Barbara Jean Nobile, Des Moines, Iowa; and five grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009 at United Methodist Church, Alden, Kan. with the Revs. Debbie Grossardt and Dennis Corbett officiating. Burial will take place in Sterling Community Cemetary, Sterling, Kan.
Memorials may be made to the Center for Basic Cancer Research KSU.
