Students from Riverland’s Massage Therapy program and Austin High School National Honor Society Students will hold four “Massage 4 a Cure” fundraisers for the Lyle Area Cancer Auction beginning Tuesday.

The first fundraiser is Tuesday, Dec. 22 and Wednesday, Dec. 23 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, 1211 Fourth St. NW.

Students from the massage therapy program will give 10-minute massages for a $10 donation. There will also be a sale of lotions, scented Smelly Jellies, candles, and Tootie candy and truffles in honor of Tootie who died from pancreatic cancer last year.

All proceeds go to the Lyle Area Cancer Event.

The fundraiser will be held again at HyVee and Oak Park Mall on Tuesday, Dec. 29, Wednesday Dec. 30, Tuesday, Jan. 5 and Wednesday, Jan. 6. Times are to be determined.
