Grace Clark

Grace Arlene Clark, 86, of Austin died Saturday afternoon, Dec. 19, 2009 at the Austin Medical Center. 
She was born June 21, 1923, in Austin, the daughter of Irvin and Gladys (Cunningham) Haney. She received her education in Austin. On Sept. 14, 1940, she was united in marriage to Edward Lewis Clark in Northwood, Iowa. Grace enjoyed her time spent living in the country, spending time with her family and tending her flowers.  She was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church and WELCA.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Clark of Austin; four children, Barbara (James) Wencl of Owatonna, Ron (Sue) Clark of Austin, Mike (Dana) Clark of Fremont, Neb. and Susie (Kevin) Bauer of Faribault; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Dick (Nancy) Haney of Austin; also many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Doris Sauer, Audrey Bakken and Shirley Maxey and a grandson, John.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ron Barnett officiating. Interment will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 22 at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
