Danny Titus

Danny Lee Titus, 62, of Austin, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009 at the Austin Medical Center.
    Danny was born Aug. 11, 1947 in Austin to Edward and Arthamese (Feeley) Titus. On Feb. 7, 1975 Danny was united in marriage to Diane Underdahl at St. Edward’s Catholic Church. He worked for Lochner Moving, Weyerhaeuser, Osmundson Inc. and as a cab driver.
    Danny enjoyed renewing old furniture, collecting key chains, driving around in the country, spending time in the garage and getting people to sign the walls, scratching an occasional lottery ticket and spending time with Diane, family and friends. His favorite saying was “I’ve got the whole ball of wax.”
    Survivors include his wife, Diane Titus, Austin; son, David (Melissa) Titus, Austin; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Vern “Pops” (Dorothy) Titus, Washington, Ill., Ardy (Dave) Osmundson, Austin, Jean (Maurice) Edge, Austin, Joan (Dale) Anderson, Rose Creek; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Delores (Bill) Hanson, Rake, Iowa, Paul (Betty) Underdahl, Austin, Donald (Pat) Underdahl, Austin, Roger Underdahl, Austin, Georgia Underdahl, Austin; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; close friend, George Percival, Austin.
    He is preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Underdahl; parents, Edward and Arthamese Titus; sister, Marilyn Sorenson; brother, David Titus; father-in-law and mother-in-law; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009 at Mayer Funeral Home with Father Dale Tupper officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and one hour before the service at Mayer Funeral Home on Saturday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
