Audrey Hall

Audrey C. Hall, 96, formerly of LeRoy, died Wednesday morning Dec. 9, 2009 at the Stewartville Care Center where she had resided since Feb. 13, 2007.
She was born Nov. 18, 1913 in Chester Township Howard County, Iowa to John Blade and Emma Cooper Blade. She was united in marriage to Dannie W. Hall on Jan. 10, 1935 in Lime Springs, Iowa. Audrey was a homemaker she enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and fishing and was a member of the LeRoy quilting society she had lived in LeRoy for 64 years before moving to the Root River Estates in Stewartville in 1999.
Audrey is survived by nieces and nephews, Art (Pat) Blade of Dillon, Mont., Arvid (Liz) Blade and Helen Brock of Spring Valley, Minn., Karyn (Sam) Bettin of Racine, Minn. and Edna (Glen) Erie of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She is also survived by many great-neices and nephews and great-great-neices and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1976, three brothers and one step-sister.
Funeral services for Audrey C. Hall will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009 at the First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy with the Rev. Neal Solomonson officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place in the LeRoy Cemetery.
Memorials can be sent to the American Diabetes Association, First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy or the Activities Fund at the Stewartville Care Center.
