A few area football players made the list for All-State honorable mention.

Caleb Leichtnam of Grand Meadow and Luc Zellmer of Blooming Prairie were both chosen as quarterbacks. Leichtnam, a junior, was also chosen as a running back.

Aaron Niles, a Blooming Prairie senior and Jerrad Ryks, an Austin senior, were chosen as a running backs Austin’s Mike Hirsch was chosen as a defensive lineman.

Dan Willert of Blooming Prairie, was chosen as an offensive lineman.

Cooper Nelson of Blooming Prairie was chosen as a wide receiver.

Justen Ingvalson of Blooming Prairie was chosen as a defensive back
