Patricia Joan (Holzer) Landherr, 59, died Tuesday Nov. 3, 2009 at the Adams Health Care Center surrounded by her loving family.

Pat was born March 30, 1950 in Winona, Minn. to William and Mary Holzer. She grew up in Stewartville and graduated from Stewartville High School. She then attended Winona State University. On March 17, 1979 (St. Patrick’s Day) Pat married Steve Landherr in Rose Creek. They had three children, Scott, Mary, and Erin. Pat was an accountant for more than 35 years. She worked at Astrup Drug and loved her job. The Astrup family treated her very well. She was diagnosed with kidney cancer this past April. Pat’s family and friends held a benefit for her on June 20. Pat was very overwhelmed by the love and support everyone had for her. She was a very active member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Rose Creek. She was a secretary treasurer, reader, and Eucharistic minister. Pat was an excellent cook. She was very talented with arts and crafts. She loved reading, watching the food network and HGTV. She collected thimbles from her many trips. She enjoyed ceramics, cross stitch, cuddling with her grand “kitties,” and had recently developed a love for going to the casino. She was a loving wife, mother, and above all, a lady. She had tremendous strength and courage. She loved taking care of other people.

Pat is survived by her husband Steve Landherr, Rose Creek, Minn.; son Scott (Amanda) Landherr, Wells, Minn.; daughters, Mary (Michael) Peck, Austin, Minn., Erin (Jimmy Krulish) Landherr, Austin, Minn.; brothers, Mike (Cheryl) Holzer, Wykoff, Minn., Bill (Pam) Holzer, Hayfield, Minn., Steve (Liz) Holzer, St. Paul, Minn.; sister, Nancy (Donald) Powers, Paynesville, Minn.; parents, Bill and Mary Holzer, Stewartville, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews.
