Jean Krulish

Jean Elizabeth Krulish, 83, of Austin died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009 surrounded by her family at her home in Austin.
She was born Oct. 11, 1926 in Austin to Robert and Martha (Tuel) Graves. Jean married Glenn Krulish on July 14, 1946 at the Brownsdale Methodist Church. Jean was a home maker and also worked at Hormel for several years before the children were born. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church were she also served in the Esther Circle. In her spare time, she liked to knit, crochet, work in the garden and go bowling. Jean loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. For the last 13 years, Jean was on dialysis three days a week.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Glenn Krulish; son-in-law, Louis Ciola, Jr.; and her eight older siblings.
Jean is survived by her daughters, Cynthia (Steven) Gleason, Austin, Catherine (Gary) Mitchell, Osceola, Mo.; grandchildren, Dominic Ciola, Minneapolis, Louis Ciola III, Austin, Texas, Elizabeth Krulish, Osceola, Mo.; step-grandchildren, Philip Gleason, Tallahassee, Fla., Kara (Carl) Mould, Atlanta, Ga., and Marjorie Gleason, Miami, Fla.; brother-in-law, Francis Carroll, Austin; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009 at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Patricia Toschak officiating. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery in Austin. Visitation will be for one hour before the service at the church on Thursday.
