Renowned gospel singer to perform Monday for Artist Series

Renowned veteran tenor of the Lorie Line Christmas Show takes the stage in Austin next week.
The Austin Artist Series presents Robert Robinson Monday at 7 p.m. in the Knowlton Auditorium at Austin High School.
Robinson will perform a program of spirituals, gospel songs and pop arrangements with his pianist.
Robinson’s accomplishments include being called “The Pavarotti of gospel” by the Minneapolis Star Tribune. He has performed with Aretha Franklin, nine-time Grammy Award winner Andrae Crouch, Kenny Loggins, the Sounds of Blackness, Bobby McFerrin and Barry Manilow among others.
The two-time Minnesota Music Award Winner for Best Gospel Artist and Group is currently the executive and artistic director of the Twin Cities Community Gospel Choir.
There is admission to the show in Austin for season ticketholders only. Robinson’s newest CD, “I Believe,” is available at Hallmark stores.
