LETTER: Benefit for beloved teacher in Austin

Margy Voss is a life-long Austin resident. She has been a teacher at Sumner School for many years and was in the Austin Catholic Schools for 18 years. She suffered a spinal cord injury on July 17th in a car accident. There will be a benefit Chili Supper for Margy on Thursday, Nov. 5th at the Corcoran Center at St. Edward’s Church. It will include a silent auction and bake sale. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children. They can be purchased from HyVee or the Coffee House on Main or at the door. Silent auction and bake sale starts at 4:30 p.m.. Dinner is from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
