The injuries continue to pile up on the LeRoy/Ostrander football team.

The Cardinals lost their starting running back Brennen Mensink to a neck injury early in the second half of a 36-12 Friday in LeRoy.

The Cardinals (0-3 overall, 0-3 SEC) were already without their starting center and guards entering the game.

“We had some freshman come in there and play hard, but it’s tough when you’re missing four starters,” L/O head coach Aaron Hungerholt said.
