Rebels roll to a big win

The Southland football team didn’t have any trouble putting up points in a 47-6 win over Onalaska Lutheran in Adams Friday.
The Rebels (2-0 overall) led 19-6 at the half and blew the game open in the second frame.
“The offensive line blocked phenomenal,” Southland head coach Shawn Kennedy said. “But the biggest thing is the players were policing themselves and they’re starting to put aside their selfishness and become a team. When we play like a team, we’re pretty good.”
Alan May had a huge impact for the Rebels as he caught a touch down pass, intercepted two passes, one for a score, and ran a kick-off 85 yards back for a touch down.
“He was a man child out there,” Kennedy said. “We wanted to send a message to our conference that we can points on the board.”
