Lyle High School crowns homecoming king and queen

Lyle High School held its 2009 Homecoming Coronation Sunday. Ashley Blum, daughter of Stephen and Tamara Blum was crowned queen, and Randy Klouse, son of Merle and Diane Klouse, was crowned king.
Other candidates included:
Whitney Andow-Pierce, daughter of Brian Jansen and Sherry Andow-Jansen, escorted by king candidate Jace Anderson, son of Alan Anderson and Marie Anderson.
Alexis Balgeman, daughter of Bob and Laurie Balgeman, escorted by king candidate Charles Branchaud, son of Pat and Connie Branchaud.
Kalyn Jacobsen, daughter of Rick and Julie Jacobsen, escorted by king candidate Garrett Wehner, son of Greg Wehner and Karla Wehner.
Haley Meyer, daughter of Jeff and Robin Meyer, escorted by king candidate, David Young, son of Tammy Oudekerk and Jarred Young.

Thursday — Twin Day; volleyball versus LeRoy Ostrander
Friday — Spirit Day; pep fest at 1 p.m.; parade at 2 p.m.; football versus Mabel-Canton; and homecoming dance after the game until midnight
