LeRoy/Ostrander placed first at the Hayfield Invitational volleyball tournament Saturday, an event that featured five local teams.

Host Hayfield placed second.

“Our blocking wasn’t effective,” said Hayfield coach Deb Harvey. “Other than that, I was pretty satisfied with the effort.”

Southland High School took fifth in the tournament, Blooming Prairie placed seventh, while Pacelli was eighth.
