The Riverland volleyball team edged out Fergus Falls 20-25, 25-19, 19-25, 27-25, 15-10 in Riverland Gym Friday.

The Blue Devils (3-5 overall, 2-1 MCAC South) picked up the pace in the fifth game to get the win.

“The fourth game came down to who made the less mistakes,” RCC head coach Helen Jahr said. “We came out with huge intensity and were in charge in the last game.”

Stephanie Neumann had 14 kills and five blocks for Riverland, Kelsey Brink had eight kills and an ace serve, Kate Krogh had nine kills, Mercedes Miklya had 30 digs, Krissy Schemmel had 34 assists, 25 digs, and an ace serve, and Katie Williams served an ace.
