The Awesome Blossoms let their defense do the talking as they shutout the Mankato Loyola football team 20-0 in BP Friday.

With a 14-0 lead early in the second half, BP fumbled on their own three-yard line, but the defense was up to the task as they responded with a goal-line stand to keep Mankato Loyola (2-2 overall) scoreless.

“The defense played extremely well and that was a huge stop,” BP head coach Chad Gimbel said.

Justen Ingvalson had three interceptions for the BP defense.
