Robert E. Sayles, 80
Robert Eugene Sayles, 80, of Austin died Aug. 15, 2009 at Austin Medical Center in Austin.
He was born Dec. 30, 1928 in Oskaloosa, Iowa the son of Stephen and Eunice (Lierow) Sayles. He attended and graduated from high school in Mason City, Iowa. He was married to Marilyn Momyer. They have resided in Austin and he was the owner of the Keg Liquor Store in Brownsdale, Minn.
Robert is survived by his wife, Marilyn Sayles, Austin; son, Steven (Orietta) Sayles, Novato, Calif.; sister-in-law, Phyllis Hanna, Ventura, Iowa; brother-in-law, Raymond Momyer, Mason City, Iowa; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Jon Charles and daughter, Suzanne Lynn.
Private services will be held at a later date. Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
