Kids Korner, Austin Public School’s School Age Care Program, is holding an open registration day on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Community Learning Center (912 First. Ave. N.E.).  Staff from all sites will be available to visit with parents, take registrations and answer questions about the Kids Korner program.

Kids Korner is a quality preschool and school age child care program for students attending Austin Public Schools pre-k through fifth grade.  Austin Public Schools operates Kids Korner sites at all four elementary buildings, Woodson Kindergarten Center and the Community Learning Center.  Kids Korner is open before and after school to provide a safe place for children before and after school, on specified non-school days and during the summer.  We provide an environment that  encourages adventure, creativity, healthy self-concepts, respect for others, responsible behavior and a positive attitude.

Families that register for Kids Korner on or before Wednesday will receive an early registration discount price of $30 per student and $60 per family.  After Wednesday the registration fee is $35 per student and $70 per family.  Enrollment forms are available on the district Web site at www.austin.k12.mn.us under the parent tab.  Registration forms can be completed and dropped off that day or complete packets are available at the Community Learning Center.
