For 125 years, the Mower County Fair has provided entertainment and attractions for residents and visitors alike.
Today, it returns again.
Celebrating its 125th anniversary, the Mower County Fair officially opens at noon and runs through Aug. 16.
It’s a place where neighbors see neighbors, friendships are made, sweet tooths are satisfied and blue ribbons are won.
A county fair brings a community together, and Mower County’s event is no different.
“I’ve been coming to the fair all my life because I’ve always lived in Mower County,” said Ramona Swenson, member of the local chapter of the Izaak Walton League. “I think it’s great.”
It is.
This year’s fair offers something for everyone, and with the free gate admission, it’s a chance to attend this community event and enjoy the exhibits at no cost.
The Mower County Fair is a special place, and we hope to see you there.
