David C. Camerer, 54
David Carl Camerer, 54, of Austin died on Aug. 3, 2009 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
He was born on Nov. 19, 1954 in rural Austin, to Dennis and Lois (Qualey) Camerer. David was prematurely born at home by his mother, who was home alone and had no help. David grew up in the Austin area and was on the dive team at Austin High School. While in the Navy, David started his family and had two daughters. It was during his time in the Navy that David learned to love all things mechanical. After leaving the Navy, he went to the Anoka Vo-Tech School to further his interest in all things mechanical. After finishing school David had two more children. In his spare time he enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go fishing.
 David is survived by his children, Heather (Daron) Small, Lyle, Minn., Josh Camerer, Madison, Wis., Lisa (Mark) Olsen, Monticello, Ill. and Tina Miller, Monticello, Ill.; grandchildren: Issac Small, Bailey Olsen, Aiden Olsen, Allan Miller, Dakota Gutierrez and Aaron Miller; brothers, Dale (Joyce) Camerer, Fountain City, Wis., Jerry Qualey, Austin, Allen Camerer, Albert Lea, Minn. and Bruce Camerer, Albert Lea; long-time girlfriend, Willa Keech, Albert Lea; nieces, nephews and cousins.
David was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joan Hulburt.
 Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 7, 2009 at Clasen-Jordan Chapel. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery in Austin.  Visitation will be at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary on Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
