Catherine H. Stahl, 86
Catherine H. Stahl, 86, of Austin, died on Aug. 12, 2009 at Austin Medical Center. 
She was born June 11, 1923 to Henry and Helen (Bryza) DeBoer in Dexter, Minn. where she grew up and attended school. She married Henry Stahl on Nov. 28, 1942 in Brownsdale. A lifelong Austin area resident, Catherine enjoyed country western music and dancing, embroidering and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include three sons, Roger Stahl, Kenneth (Linjee) Stahl and David (Sara Shaw) Stahl, all of Austin; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Viola Stahl, Austin; two brothers, Merton DeBoer, Austin and Lynn (Angie) DeBoer, Stewartville; sister-in-law, Maxine DeBoer; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Dennis; sister, Evelyn; brothers, Kenneth, Sydney and Jacob.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Aug. 17, 2009 at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday at Worlein Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service. Interment is at Grandview Cemetery. The family prefers memorials to donors’ choice.
